The most difficult is the welding lines control for auto griller mold. So a perfect CAE analysis for gate number and location become important, valve gate hot tips must be used to adjust the welding lines location. The usually raw material is PP/ABS/ASA , the final surface finishing is very important for this kind of mold, such like texturing, painting , sandblasting, electroplating.
Compared with griller mold, Bumper mold is much bigger, but requirement for surface finishing is lower, Usually there are 2 kinds parting lines for large lifters or not, it is better within 600mm between every 2 gates, and vavle hot tips must be used also. The mold design will take long time to finish, and machining processing is complex also, Inserts must be made to make CNC machining feasible and accurate.
